Lizzy Lane
Personal Style:
Alt: which is inspired by the fashions of the beat era, London mods, 1940s/50s dresses and cardigans, a bit fab-trash-chic, Early 80s new romantics of London, 1960s dollybirds, etc. I rarely need to spend more than $40 on one outfit as I source vintage bargains from markets and op-shops (Thrifts to some of you). My inspiration comes from: Vintage, France, Mods, Pop-trash of the 60s and 80s, Facehunter, Sex & The City, Dolls, Grunge chic, The Beatles, Cilla Black, Peaches Geldof, Zooey Deschanel, Katy Steele, Velvet, Frills, Bouffant Collars, Spider Webb, Cream coloured lace, Rose coloured glasses, Opaque tights, Bows, Panama hats, Raybans, Cat's eye sunglasses, Pointy toed Brogues on boys, Belted waistlines, Daisy Lowe, Long socks with bows on them, Waistcoats, Pretty pretty petticoats, Pamela Des Barres, Floral sundresses, Cardigans, Mary Jane Shoes, Shift Dresses. Favorite Colors: It's more about what goes with what, like, I love how maroon, purple or green velvet look with white lace, patent fluoro colors, grey or gold with leopard skin print, mint green, salmon, gold or baby pink and black mixed, and glittery or sequinced clothing. Designers on My Radar: I'm not much into labels, more finding individual gems, whoever they are by. But I do l o v e: Chloe, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, YSL, and Fendi. Where I Shop: Markets & Op-shops. Aw yeah. Where I Wish I Could Shop: H&M, Topshop, Brick Lane Markets (London), Chanel, Harrods, Marc Jacobs. Current Wishlist: Lace-up pointy toed tan brogues. Winklepickers. Chloe shoeboots. Round toed beige patent leather pumps. Yellow, mustard, maroon or orange tights. Knee length floral printed socks. Silver or sparkly socks. Brown patent leather Marc Jacobs bag. Orange lipstick. Maroon nailpolish. Daisy by Marc Jacobs. A dress or blouse with daisies or buttercup print. White cowboy boots. Chanel quilted bag. White beret. Black trenchcoat. Black or red cape. Brogue pumps. Yellow cardigan.
