What is StyleMob?

We're a new community for street fashion inspiration. Our mission: to create a place for real people to have a say about fashion. When you come to StyleMob, you find out how real people put together their outfits and upgrade your own look with fresh ideas.

Does it cost anything?

Nope, it's completely free to use StyleMob.

How do I submit a look?

Click on “submit” on the main nav at the top of the page.

Why do you prefer head-to-toe images?

We think style is about the whole look--and we want to see everything you've got.

How do I delete a look?

Go to the look you submitted and click the "edit/manage this look" link right below the image and it will take you to the "Edit Look" page. At the bottom of that page there is a "delete this look" button.

Can I make my look private after publishing it?

Yes, you can always manage looks after submitting. Just go to the look and click on "edit/manage this look" directly below the image and hit "unpublish this look" at the bottom of the page. This will move the image to "not ready to submit" in your lookbook and it will no longer be viewable by other mobsters.

How do I edit info on my pictures after submitting them?

Go to the look and click on "edit/manage this look" directly below the image and you'll be taken back to the Edit Look page where you can change up your information.

What are stylepoints and how do I get them?

Stylepoints are one way we recognize and reward particularly awesome, active stylemobsters for their participation. You get stylepoints for everything from submitting looks to commenting to inviting fashionable people to join. For more info on how stylepoints work, check here.

How come I have so many "Not4Me"s?

StyleMob is a friendly fashion community but it's inevitable that not everyone will share the same taste. Getting "Not4Me"s means your style is original--so you could take them as a compliment!

My photo was flagged. What's up with that?

It means you uploaded a photo that wasn't in line with our community guidelines. Try uploading another one.

What if someone leaves nasty comments?

StyleMob is based on people giving each other helpful style advice. Unfortunately there will always be a few people who don't get it and will leave non-constructive feedback. To deal with this unfortunate truth, we allow you to delete comments you don't find constructive and to block users you don't find helpful.
